We all hope to be destined for great things, but in the case of Jupiter Jones (played by Mila Kunis) in the upcoming science fiction epic adventure "Jupiter Ascending," her "genetic signature" has marked her to be the next Queen of the Universe.

Not too shabby right?

"Jupiter Ascending," is the brainchild of the sibling-filmmaking duo Lana and Andy Wachowski, who are the creators of "The Matrix" trilogy. Award-winning producer Grant Hill, with whom they have collaborated since "The Matrix" trilogy, is producing, together with the Wachowski team. In addition, Roberto Malerba and Bruce Berman serve as executive producers.

In "Jupiter Ascending" Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, her reality isn't so starry. Jupiter's job involves cleaning houses and a slew of "bad breaks."

However, her fate changes when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down. It's then Jupiter gets a taste of what her life was really meant to be like -- "her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos." Much better than cleaning houses!

The space adventure takes the audience on a journey from the bustling streets of Chicago to "far flung galaxies whirling through space."

Among some scenes that stand out in the film include "a show-stopping wedding ceremony set aboard the spaceship of Titus Abrasax (Douglas Booth), the youngest son of intergalactic royals," according to the Chicago Tribune, who shared images as well as commentary describing the aesthetic approach from Dan Glass, "Jupiter Ascending's" visual effects supervisor who oversaw some 2,050 shots.

"The wedding ceremony was shot partially on location in England's Ely Cathedral," the Chicago Tribune added, "but technicians digitally added ornate vaulting and views of star fields glimpsed through the windows."

In other reports, there has been buzz that the first full-length trailer for the highly anticipated "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie will precede the screening of the movie. The next installment in the "Superman" franchise stars Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne aka Batman.

"Jupiter Ascending" in 3D and 2D will be released in select theaters and IMAX on Feb. 6, 2015.
