Apple will likely put out another iPhone this September. It could be either the iPhone 7 or an iPhone 6s. There is definitely some features that can be improved on from 2014's iPhone 6. Let's take a look at some rumors surrounding the next iPhone.

Screen Size

Will Apple keep the big screen of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus? It looks like that could happen, but there might be a 4 inch model, a 4.7 inch model and a 5.5 inch model, MacWorld reports.

Apple would be smart to do each size, but they likely will just do two sizes and shy away from the 4-inch screen. The 5s is the only iPhone that retains the 4-inch size, but the iPhone 6 jumped up by 0.7 inches and the iPhone 6 Plus by a full 1.5 inches. The Plus may have been too big for some users, but Android has proved that big phones are in.

3D Display?

It could happen, according to reports from Economic Daily News (in Chinese). No glasses will be required to view the 3D images if this feature is included.

Camera:

The iPhone 6S or iPhone 7's camera could be greatly improved as the iPhone 6 did not update the camera very much from the iPhone 5. In fact, the camera stayed at 8 MP.

It is time for the camera to get updated to at least 12 MP. According to rumors, the newest camera on the next iPhone could deliver DSLR-quality pictures, which would be pretty awesome from a smartphone.

Wireless Charging:

Charging your phone wirelessly takes the hassle out of finding an outlet or USB port. This might actually happen on the next iPhone; it did not make it in time for the iPhone 6.

Processor:

An Apple A9 processor is expected for the next iPhone. It will be smaller and faster.

Operating System:

iOS 9 is the next step for Apple for its upcoming iPhone 6S or iPhone 7,

Release Date:

According to rumors, the next iPhone is more likely to be an iPhone 6S or iPhone 6C than an iPhone 7. Following Apple's typical update sequence, the likely date of release is mid-September.
