World's no.1 Tiger Woods and two-time Grand Slam champion Rory McIlroy, two of the most popular golfers in the world, will duke it out again for the second straight year on Sunday at Mission Hills in Haikou, China.

Match at Mission Hills - Part II

For the second consecutive year, the Match at Mission Hills will feature two of the most watched golfers in the world going head-to-head on the picturesque golf course in Haikou, China.

Woods, who was recently crowned the PGA Tour Player of the Year after winning five tournaments this 2013 season, is out to prove that he's indeed back on top of the world after a three-year spell of scandals, frustrations, and inconsistency on the golf course.

"We both are pretty competitive people, and we're going to go out there and try to play the best we possibly can," Woods said in an interview with Back9 Sports executive producer Ahmad Rashad.

On the other hand, McIlroy had a rough year of golfing throughout the 2013 season. Nevertheless, the Northern Irishman should not be underestimated heading into his showdown with Woods, especially after finishing second at Kolon Korea Open recently.

"He's going to want to try and beat me. He's probably the most competitive person that I've ever come across," McIlroy said.

Not Just an Ordinary Game!

Woods and McIlroy promised not to hold any punches when they go head-to-head on Sunday.

The 14-time Grand Slam champion said he wants to stay competitive, though the match won't affect their status on the world rankings. This competitive mindset was also true to McIlroy, who assured fans to give his best to win his latest duel with arguably the best golfer of all time.

"It's always important to win and there's no doubt about that. I'll play to go out there and make a bunch of birdies," Woods said.

"We both want to play good golf so we can excite the crowd, but also we want to play good golf to win," McIlroy said.
