IGigi Hadid, the daughter of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Foster, recently opened up about her mother's struggle with lyme disease in Korea and how she and the rest of her family are supporting Foster during her recovery.

"You know it's hard, especially with something like Lyme Disease, not a lot of people know about it, especially doctors so they don't really know how to help, medical wise," Hadid explained to E! News. "So it's really hard for me and my siblings to know how we could help, but I guess just being supportive is the best way we can do it."

One way that Hadid shows support is through FaceTime. The 19-year-old model revealed that her mother enjoys using the video chatting app FaceTime with her as much as possible.

"You can tell how much it means to her when, during a lunch break on a shoot, I'll FaceTime her and talk to her about how my day's going," Hadid revealed. "I think just the little things like that is what's helping her get through it."

In addition to talking about Foster, Hadid also spoke about being a model and her friendship with fellow model, Kendall Jenner. Hadid currently lives in New York and is signed to IMG models. Though she and Jenner are both models around the same age with celebrity parents, Hadid insists that there is no competition between them.

"I was always kinda told that when I was becoming a model, don't live with a model because you get competitive ... but I don't really find that I get competitive with my friends, especially with someone like Kendall ... we look nothing alike. So someone that's gonna want a Kendall is not gonna want a Gigi," she explained.

People reports that both Hadid and her sister Bella are quickly developing a reputation as fashion's "It" girls. While Hadid's modeling career dominated in 2014, her sister Bella is following in her footsteps with an equally promising career in 2015.
