Tom Brady put an end to the recent criticism about his performance by throwing four touchdown passes in his team's 49-20 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers to highlight the week of play in the NFL.

It was a week like none other -- especially in the NFC East, where every single team that played managed to win. While the New York Giants were enjoying a bye week, the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins both eked out narrow victories to hold their ground in the NFC East.

In the AFC, The Indianapolis Colts stormed from behind to knock off the Houston Texans, 27-24; Houston coach Gary Kubiak collapsed on the sideline during the game and was hospitalized for precaution. Defensive Coordinator and longtime Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio will serve as the interim coach in the meantime.

The New York Jets bounced back nicely from last week's disastrous loss by holding off Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. The Saints entered the game with only 1 loss while the Jets held a mediocre 4-4 record after last week's loss, but this game was all Jets. New York scored 17 points in the second quarter and quarterback Geno Smith was careful enough to avoid a turnover. Although his counterpart, Brees, had 382 yards passing, he also had two interceptions.

In other games, the Tennessee Titans improved to .500 with a 28-21 win over the Rams; the Baltimore Ravens continued their struggles this season in a 24-18 loss on the road to the Cleveland Browns; and the Seattle Seahawks avoided disaster by taking care of the Tampa Bay Bucs in overtime.

Tonight's Monday Night matchup is between division rivals Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
