The Minnesota Vikings are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and tonight they'll have a prime opportunity to do that on the primetime stage at home against the 3-5 Washington Redskins.

Although Washington sits multiple games below .500, the team still remains relevant thanks to an incredibly weak NFC East division this season. With the first-place Cowboys only needing a 5-4 record to stay on top of the division at this point, Washington finds itself right in the mix.

"The fans want to have something to believe in, and the players want to have something to believe in," quarterback Robert Griffin III said. "And because of the way our division is set up right now, we have something to believe in and we know we can control our own destiny."

Despite the differences in win-loss records, both of the teams facing each other tonight are evenly matched on paper. Washington averages 25.4 points per game while Minneosta scores 23.3 points per game; both teams give up an average of 31 points per game; and neither team has won a game within their own division.

Washington will also look to stop Adrian Peterson - the Vikings' most dangerous weapon - in the rushing game. The veteran tailback has 711 yards on the ground with 7 touchdowns so far on the season. On the flip side, the Vikings will look to slow down Washington's versatile rushing game that features not only running backs but quarterbacks. RGIII ran for a career-high 138 yards in the last game between the two teams on Oct. 14 of last year.

Tonight's game in Minnesota is slated for 8:25 p.m.
