In a recent interview with E! news, country music star, Carrie Underwood revealed that she would not be attending this year's Grammy Awards ceremony.

Underwood named her pregnancy as the reason why she will be missing out on music's biggest night.

"I wish I could go to the Grammys, but travel's kind of out for me at this point. It's tempting, but I can't fly that far away this late in my pregnancy," she admitted. "I'll be in my pajamas watching it from the comfort of my couch."

And though she might be missing out on the red carpet, Underwood teased that she might still dress up for the Grammy's in the comfort of her own home.

"You know, I should just get all dressed up anyways. I should get my hair and makeup done, and get a dress and watch it from my couch all dressed up like I'm there!" she quipped.

Underwood also named Beyonce as one of the celebrities she would be looking out for on the red carpet because of her impeccable style.

"I can't help but always be envious in the best way of whatever Beyoncé is wearing," Carrie gushed. "What she wears on stage especially. Whatever she's going to have on stage is gonna make all of us feel like we need to go to the gym immediately!"

Underwood first announced her pregnancy on Labor day with a Twitter photo of herself and her two dogs.

Following her announcement, Underwood appeared on NBC's "Today" show and described her impending motherhood as "weird."

"It's still kind of weird, to be honest," she said. "Sometimes I'll be with my husband and I'm like, 'I'm going to be a mom. You're going to be a dad. Like, is this real life?' But we're really excited."

She added, "I have a wonderful mother, so if I can be even a little bit like that, I think we'll be good."
