The Barranquilla Carnaval is going to take place from Feb. 14-17, and the newest queen will be crowned Thursday night.

Cristina Felfle gets the honor of being the queen of the Colombian festival, and she will be the third woman in her family to hold the title, according to Caracol. Her grandmother and her mother were previously crowned.

Felfle will be wearing a dress by Alfredo Barraza, which he has named the Goddess of the Fantasy. The outfit she will be wearing is going to be grand; the dress is a champagne color and has a mostly sheer skirt. The bodice is sparkly and looks as though it could be heavy. Felfle will also be accessorized with a lot of orange.

Felfle has been rehearsing for the event for the past few nights, but her crowning won't just revolve around her. The night is also a tribute to musicians, such as Boris Garcia, and there will be 350 dancers as part of the festivities.

Felfle may be working hard, but remains excited about Thursday night's event.

"Good morning barranquillaaaaa!!!!!!" she said via Twitter. "It's arrived, the big day of my coronationnnn!!!!!"

In addition, she explained that it takes hard work to be the queen of the carnival.

"2:30 am! Leaving the last rehearsal for my coronation!" she said in a tweet.

Felfe has also been retweeting people talking about her crowning.

One person congratulated Felfle on the day of her dreams.

"Today is the day you dreamed so much about," Erwin Daniel Sarmiento said. "Your charm will be the star tonight. Once again, show off my queen!"

The crown was designed by Carolina Arcieri. Felfle said on Twitter that the designer managed to capture exactly what she dreamed of in a crown. Felfle said that this year's crown is the first to be designed by a jewelry designer, and it was "100 percent made by local talent."
