The 2015 Oscars will take place Sunday night at 7 p.m. EST on ABC, and the nation waits to see who the big winners will be among many categories.

The 87th Academy Awards could also be live streamed from the Dolby Theater on ABC Watch with a TV subscription. Mashable reports fans can live stream the pre-show, full ceremony and Jimmy Kimmel's post-show at the Oscars' website ABC.com and the Watch ABC app for Android and iOS.

Live streams on those websites are available to residents of Chicago, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham and San Francisco.

But "The Oscar's Backstage" live stream will be available even without a TV subscription.

The broadcast will be available for upload on ABC Watch after the ceremony for three full days and taken down on Feb. 25.

Short clips of memorable moments and more will be available on the Oscar website under the video tab for viewers to watch and share via social media.

This year's performers include Anna Kendrick, Jack Black, Jennifer Hudson, Lady Gaga and more.

Benedict Cumberbatch is nominated for Best Leading Actor for "The Imitation Game." The also TV actor will be up against favorites Michael Keaton, who starred in "Birdman," and Eddie Redmayne, who portrayed Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything."

Rosamund Pike did a great job in "Gone Girl," which won her the Best Leading Actress nomination. But Reese Witherspoon has a bigger shot at winning the title for her role in "Wild."

Ethan Hawke could win Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Boyhood" since the movie is such a hot topic. Still, JK Simmon has been very successful this award season for his role in "Whiplash."

For Best Supporting Actress, Patricia Arquette may have the best chances. The "Boyhood" actress has done well at different awards.

"Boyhood" and "Birdman" are the top films that will battle for the title of Best Picture, NBC News reports.

"I would say it's pretty much a 50/50 tossup," said Dave Karger, chief correspondent for Fandango. "Anyone's guess is as good as any expert's guess."

"Boyhood" was an early favorite since it had several wins from the critics' choice awards.

"Birdman" won awards from the SAGs, Director Guild of America and Producers Guild of America.
