Singer and actress Hilary Duff reportedly filed for divorce from her husband, Mike Comrie, after four years of marriage, TMZ reports.

Duff and Comrie separated for a year but have now decided to officially end their marriage, Us Weekly adds.

The Daily Mail sources claim Duff was fed up after Comrie was spotted propositioning women at an exclusive restaurant in Beverly Hills.

TMZ sources added Duff has cited irreconcilable differences and fears that Comrie's partying and drinking might be detrimental to the upbringing of their son, Luca. Because of Duff's fear, she is filing for full custody of their son but has granted Comrie visitation.

Duff and Comrie also signed a prenup prior to their marriage.

Prior to their divorce, Duff and Comrie remained close throughout their separation, says the Daily Mail.

Duff previously told The Kyle & Jackie O's KIIS 106.5 show that there was even a possibility for reconciliation with Comrie, E! News reported.

"I mean, if there wasn't a chance for getting back [together], I think we would've filed for divorce," said Duff. "I talk about this so much, I really don't want to talk about it anymore -- but we are like, I just talked to him this morning! We really care a lot about each other. We're just really laid-back, and we're like well whatever happens, happens. Once we're tired of doing this, we'll either make this choice or make this choice."

Following her interview, Duff and her estranged husband were spotted packing on the PDA at a Halloween party sponsored by George Clooney and Rande Gerber's tequila brand, says E! News.

"Mike Comrie and Hillary Duff arrived together, danced together and really didn't leave each other's side the entire night," said the E! News source.

Duff and Comrie tied the knot in August 2010. So far, neither Duff nor Comrie has spoken publicly about the split.
