"Mortal Kombat X's" fourth live stream arrived Thursday at 4 p.m. eastern. In this stream, gamers were expected to be shown a brutality.

Brutalities are the the most graphic and brutal fatalities. A teaser video for Thursday's live stream says the "next Mortal Kombat X stream" is "going to be brutal."

In the video, the sound of bones crunching and blood flowing is heard, but no pictures are shown. When the stream went online today on the official Twitch channel, gamers expected to see some brutalities from at least one of the "Mortal Kombat X" characters.

The last time gamers saw brutalities was for "Mortal Kombat Trilogy" for Nintendo 64 and PlayStation. Those brutalities would end with the victim exploding into a bloody mess with bones everywhere.

Now, with next-generation graphics and a better attention to detail, expect Mortal Kombat X brutalities to be much more exciting and intense.

The last stream showed the developers hovering over Goro and getting excited about his "punch walk," according to gaming website DenOfGeek.

Since this will likely be the last live stream of the month, gamers were also expecting to be presented with a new character.

With just about a month and a half to go, "Mortal Kombat X" is coming down to the wire. The entire roster of characters will soon be known.

According to Gamespot, gamers hoping to take advantage of online play for "Mortal Kombat X" will need either a PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold membership. With new online features including Faction Wars and Living Towers, "Mortal Kombat X" will definitely be a great game to play online and definitely worthy of getting an online membership with PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold.
