Teen Mom Mackenzie McKee recently crashed her brand new car and says diabetes is to blame for the accident.

The "16 and Pregnant" star was driving on an Oklahoma highway Saturday night while her blood sugar was sky high, TMZ reports.

McKee's blood sugar caused her to zone out and swerve off the road. Her brand new Kia Sorento ended up in a ditch.

She had the car for just one day before totaling it.

Luckily, she was alone in the car and was not hurt since all the airbags deployed accordingly.

Unfortunately, the mom of two had not insured the car and is not covered for the $26,000 down payment she made.

The reality TV star and fitness trainer was ticketed for driving without insurance, although she said she was planning to call her insurance company on Monday.

According to a recent Instagram post by McKee, the new car was for the family.

"Welp... Here we are taking home our new family car," McKee captioned the post. "Goodbye teenage car, hello mommy car. We have been dreaming of a nice family car to travel in for a while now and have worked hard for this."

The post continued, "A lot of hours in the factory for josh and LOTS of haircuts for this cosmetologist. So happy for our family we deserve it. #2013kiasorento @joshmckee28."

McKee, originally born Mackenzie Taylor Douthit, is also a cheerleader along with being a full time mom, according to her bio on Hollywood Life.

The "Teen Mom 3" star was a competitive cheerleader at Miami High School and is now a cosmetologist.

She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was 11 years old. Since then, she has maintained a healthy and fit lifestyle.

McKee also makes home workout YouTube videos and keeps the public up to date with how to be healthy while raising a family.

She'll have to do a lot more haircuts to fix that car, but at least she is okay.
