Mexican born- actress and singer Thalia rejoices as she is honored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and signs a new deal with retail giant Macy's. Thalia's achievements have been in everything from music to acting and owning several businesses in a variety of fields. Proud to see this Latina continue to succeed in everything she does.

Thalia has started her very own fashion line at Macy's stores. Macy's Inc. CEO Terry Lundgren says that Thalia is a "trendsetter for Latinas" describing her style as "flirty, fun vivacious and put together". The Spanish diva sign a multi-year deal with Macy's in which she will feature a line of dresses, tops, pants, shoes and jewelry called Thalia Sodi. The items will be sold in stores starting in 2015 and we will be able to find Thali Sodi at most Macy's stores including the Herald Square flagship in New York City.

Thalia celebrated another accomplishment that same day, receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has recognized the multi-talented singer as an influential star who is deserving of her space in the legendary Hollywood walk. The Mexican singer has had a pretty good year as she also recently renewed her vows with husband Tommy Mottola after 13-years of marriage.

The star, who has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide over the last 30-years, talks to Variety about the music business today. "Everything is so fast now, everything is so disposable now, there's no time to build up a career like we used to have in the past...kids just want to have one song, they don't care about a body of work, they just want whatever's hot right now. They download that song and that's it, it's really tough".

Thalia also talks about her ABC radio show, "Conexion Thalia" and how "[she] loves acting" hoping to make her first film soon. "As an actress I want whatever brings butterflies to your stomach when you read something in a script, that's what I want".  Congrats to Thalia on her recent achievements and we look forward to seeing her on the big screen very soon.
