Every year, America's favorite celebrities take the stage for performances that end the year with style and start the New Year with dancing. Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014 will honor that tradition this year, broadcasting performances from Times Square, New York and Los Angeles, California. Which coast has it best this year? Let's take a look.

Dick Clark's West Coast Party will again be hosted by Fergie from The Black Eyed Peas.

Robin Thicke, Jason Derulo, Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Hudson, Icona Pop, Fall Out Boy and Florida Georgia Line were the some of the first performers announced to bring in 2014 on the West Side.

Recently, the West Coast celebration got even bigger with the addition of four more musicians: Capital Cities, The Fray, Daughtry, and Ariana Grande.

Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy will host the show on the East Coast. Times Square will have to do it big if it hopes to compete with the West Coast's long and diverse list of performers. Good thing Times Square is all about doing things big, bright and blonde.

Blondie will be celebrating their 40th anniversary in Times Square. The performance will feature Harry, Chris Stein and Clem Burke returning to Dick Clark's stage after over 30 years. They will be joining newer band mates, Matt Katz-Bohen on keyboards, Leigh Foxx on bass and Tommy Kessler on guitar.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will also be performing in Times Square as well as Miley Cyrus.

"There's nothing like New Year's Eve in New York with the energy and excitement from all of the people that gather throughout Times Square. ... You never know what's going to happen and, as the saying goes, what happens in Times Square is seen by millions of people around the world, so you better keep it classy," McCarthy said. "Or so they keep telling me."

Last but not least, Billy Joel was recently announced to perform at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

The addition of Billy Joel means that New York may have won New Year's Eve battle with performances by icons with longevity. New performers can still join the list, however, so don't count the West Coast out yet.

Can't decide which coast has the best New Year's Eve show? Don't worry. You can watch performances from both sides on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014 starting Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
