There has been talk that Huawei may be making the 2015 Google Nexus smartphone. Meanwhile, others report both LG and Huawei will release their own Nexus phones this year.

As speculation continues to surround the next-gen Nexus device, a new report by BGR indicates that LG and Huawei will launch Nexus models thus there will be two smartphones out this year, a first for Google.

Last week, Gizmo China reported that Huawei is developing a Nexus phone with a Samsung-made 5.7-inch OLED display with 2K resolution. In addition, users will have boosted internal hardware as the Huawei-made smartphone is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

As another possible option for smartphone users would be from Nexus smartphone veteran, LG. With the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 handsets under its belt, Android Police's Artem Russakovskii via Google+ revealed that a knowing source has mentioned LG is planning to launch a 5.2-inch phone.

Both smartphones are smaller than Motorola's Nexus 6 which came with a massive 6-inch display. KnowYourMobile noted that following Motorola's Nexus handset, a lot of people are interested in Google returning to its earlier business phone model, specifically something similar to the successful Nexus 4/ Nexus 5 models.

The publication continued to report that fans may be interested in a Nexus 5 successor from LG and from Huawei, something along the lines of its Ascend 7 and Honor 6 which have had luxurious looking exterior designs.

Given this reality, whichever company gets to produce the next Nexus smartphone, according to industry and user preference, a scaled down display screen is definitely a step in the right direction.

Motorola's Nexus 6 was branded as an all-in-one device that enables you to see and do more. Some features included a 6-inch Quad HD display, dual front-facing speakers, 13-MP camera with OIS and HDR+.

The Nexus 6 also had a 3220 mAh battery with Turbo charger, pre-loaded with Android 5.0, a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM and options of 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.

Nexus 2015 Release Date
