In the ongoing battle between gamers and Rockstar Games, the future of Grand Theft Auto V PC remains vague and uncertain.

Some have speculated that a PC version of the bestselling Grand theft Auto V will not be released until the game is released for Sony's PlayStation 4 and Microsoft's Xbox One. Rockstar Games, however, does not appear to have made any notable progress on creating games for these new systems.

"Unfortunately, we have not released any information about that..." Rockstar Support said via Twitter in response to a gamer asking about the release of Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 or Xbox One.

Despite this delay, rumor still has it that the highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto V PC will finally be released March, 2014.

"Likewise, international Amazon staff told a number of customers that a PC version of GTA 5 will be released in March, 2014," reports Examiner.

One Amazon support employee, however, was already proven to be somewhat inaccurate.

"Welcome to Amazon Chat. My name is Fatima [...]. According to our information, GTA V PC will be announced on 12/24 and according to our source; it will be released in the USA on 03/12 and here on 03/14," the Amazon representative said in German.

Christmas Eve came and went, and Rockstar Game made no announcement.

Meanwhile, another Reddit user contacted Amazon U.K.'s support team and got a similar, yet slightly confusing, response.

"As of now, we do not have any information regarding the PC version of GTA V," the representative said in Decemeber. "I can see that Rockstar is planning to release this in March of 2014..."

It seems that the Amazon support team has already damaged its credibility, but according to DSOGaming and Examiner, Amazon has revealed PC versions of games before their official announcements in the past. DSOGaming says that "long before" PC versions of two Mortal Kombat games were announced, Amazon leaked the information.
