Manchester United and Robin van Persie will likely part ways this summer as reports revealed several clubs are interested in acquiring the Red Devils striker.

According to ESPN, van Persie's future with Manchester United is "looking bleaker" as the summer transfer window approaches. Talks about van Persie moving out of Old Trafford continue to circulate, and reports revealed the Dutch striker could eventually move to Juventus.

Juventus, who recently finished second to FC Barcelona in the 2014-15 UEFA Champions League, are interested in acquiring the Netherlands international because of the impending exit of Carlos Tevez.

Tevez helped Juventus win two consecutive Italian Serie A titles, but is expected to move either to Paris Saint-Germain or Boca Juniors in Argentina. According to the Daily Star, Juventus managing director Giuseppe Moratta is keen on acquiring van Persie, and Manchester United are ready to listen to offers for their striker.

Van Persie was also linked to a move to Lazio, but club sporting director Igli Tare insisted that there are no ongoing talks between them and Manchester United. Tare also ruled out a possible deal to acquire the 31-year-old this summer because the star forward is too expensive for his club.

Van Persie, who still has one year left in his contract with Manchester United, struggled to regain his form this season in the Premier League, where he scored just 10 goals in 27 appearances for the Red Devils.

When asked about his future at Old Trafford, van Persie told Manchester Evening News that he still expects to start the season with the Red Devils. He is also looking forward to playing more games next season, and is aiming to get in top form to help Manchester United in their Champions League campaign.

"It is my ambition to play as many games as possible. I feel fitter than ever," van Persie said. "And I know that the more games I play, the more it will help me prepare for the European Championships next summer. I will take everything into consideration when I decide on my future and I know I have to be realistic about the situation."

It remains to be seen, though, whether or not van Persie will get enough opportunities to contribute next season. Javier Hernandez is set to return from a one-year loan to Real Madrid, and the Red Devils are also being linked to deal to acquire Gareth Bale from Los Blancos.
