The Bachelor star Juan Pablo is still feeling the backlash from his "gay people are perverts" comment, even after he apologized for it (and, of course, blamed a "language barrier" for the reason it was all "misinterpreted"). Now, rumors are surfacing that it's Juan Pablo HIMSELF who's the "pervert"... if you believe his ex-girlfriend.

Parade Magazine reports that Juan Pablo issued a formal apology about the "gay people are perverts" comment after the Twitter backlash and after ABC -- the network which airs "The Bachelor" -- publicly distanced itself from the star. "I want to apologize to all the people I may have offended because of my comments on having a gay or bisexual Bachelor," he said.

"The comment was taken out of context. If you listen to the entire interview, there's nothing but respect for gay people and their families. I have many gay friends and one of my closest friends who's like a brother has been a constant in my life especially during the past 5 months. The word pervert was not what I meant to say and I am very sorry about it. Everyone knows English is my second language and my vocabulary is not as broad as it is in Spanish and, because of this, sometimes I use the wrong words to express myself. What I meant to say was that gay people are more affectionate and intense and for a segment of the TV audience this would be too racy to accept. The show is very racy as it is and I don't let my 5 year old daughter watch it. Once again, I'm sorry for how my words were taken. I would never disrespect anyone."

But on the same day that Juan Pablo issued his mea culpa, RealityTV World sat down with a few of his ex-girlfriends, who spilled all the dirty details about the "dreamy" single father and soccer player. One girlfriend said that Juan Pablo was "fickle," another said he was a serial dater, and yet another said that they didn't see each other enough. But the most damaging of all was the comment from the former girlfriend who called him "self-centered," saying that when one dates Juan Pablo, one must make her whole life about him. Yet, despite all of his negative traits, his girlfriends also said that he was a "total gentleman" and that he was a caring father who genuinely "adores his daughter."
