Academy Award-winning actor Jeff Bridges and his wife, Susan, are looking for a buyer for their Montecito estate, built nearly three decades ago.

The actor, who got an Oscar for his role in "Crazy Heart," listed his California property for $29.5 million, The Wall Street Journal reported. The family opted to move to a smaller residence, also in Montecito, since their three children are all grown up.

The California abode is a witness to the couple's time-tested relationship of almost four decades. Susan told the Journal that the house served as their main home since they purchased it in 1994 from "Meet Me Half Way" singer Kenny Loggins and his former wife, Eva. The Bridges' matriach added that they also own a ranch located in Montana.

The 9,500-square-foot residence is sitting on a 19.5-acre Montecito estate. The luxury property features five bedrooms and five bathrooms. There is a media room, which can serve as a recording studio for future owners who love music as it did for Jeff, who has a talent for singing, too.

Other details that surround the Tuscan style home are its guesthouses and a small vineyard. A greenhouse on the grounds shelters orchids and Jeff's well-loved aloe tree collection.

"They look like Dr. Seuss plants and require very little water," Susan shared with the Journal.

The next owners may also find refuge in what Susan described as the 65-year-old actor's "fort," a chill-out spot adorned with swings, a hammock, benches and swings. It seems it was also the perfect place for "The Giver" actor to do his other hobby - pottery.

The agent who is currently handling the listing is Suzanne Perkins of Sotheby's International Realty. On her website, Perkins described the area of Montecito, which means "little mountain," as a "verdant retreat." The location is highlighted by "a rural, residential atmosphere and is colored by many gardens throughout the area" with the green hills "home to luxurious, expansive homes and estates."
