Scott Cawthon, developer of the "Five Nights at Freddy's" indie game franchise, has offered fans another teaser for "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" scheduled for release on Oct. 31.

The latest teaser image shows one of the most terrifying animatronics, Springtrap, sitting on a chair beneath a window. Above Springtrap there's text that reads, "Terrible things come in small packages." If you brighten the image, the teaser reveals that Springtrap is surrounded by four doors. Though not clear, it appears something may be lurking behind the window.

The image portrays a home-like setting, taking fans beyond the security office and pizzeria. Some fans have said the four doors in the image may indicate more entrances to worry about in "FNAF4."

One important thing to note about the teaser image is it is the first in the game series to ever show the outside. No previous image has included a window showing the outside world. What could it mean?

The unusual phrase "Cyh gvh gpe" appears in the source code, which fans have translated to Plushtrap, hinting that the new animatronic shown is likely named that.

In addition to this latest "Five Nights at Freddy's" news, Cawthon updated his official IndieDB page with the last teaser image featuring Freddy Fazbear and labeled it "NFB." There are already several fan theories as to what NFB could mean, including "Not Freddy's Beginning" and "Not FredBear."

The fans at 8-Bit Gaming have theorized that NFB confirms the animatronic's identity as "Nightmare Fredbear." In the video clip, they expound on the belief that this Fredbear teaser is connected with the previous "nightmare" versions of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy.

"But now the nightmare-linkature is actually still there. This could mean that these guys are going to be kind of entwined with the nightmares or hallucinations of the character we play as," Ryan of 8-Bit Gaming says in the video.
