Hotel heiress Nicky Hilton tied the knot with English heir James Rothschild in a lavish $77,000 Valentino couture gown, LoveBScott reports.

Overall, Hilton's wedding ran smoothly except for one mishap involving her long veil.

As Hilton made her way inside of Kensington Palace where the wedding took place, her veil got stuck underneath the tires of a Bentley and her team managed to quickly and gently pull the veil from underneath the car so that Hilton could continue walking, LoveBScott reports.

Following her wedding, Hilton posted a sketch of her wedding dress and thanked Valentino for bringing her dress vision to life.

Thank you Valentino Haute Couture for designing me my dream wedding dress!

Hilton's brother Barron also shared a photo of Hilton's dress and congratulated his sister on tying the knot.

In addition to sporting an extravagant wedding gown, Nicky also sported a lavish mini dress following her wedding ceremony E! News reports.

According to E!, Nicky's post-wedding dress was a sparkling silver mini dress. She was spotted wearing the dress and matching heels when returning to her hotel.

Nickys wedding ceremony took place at the Orangery, which is located within Kensington Gardens. The Orangery is reportedly licensed for civil weddings and receptions and is located next door to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's main residence, according to Page Six.

Nicky and Rothschild first began dating in 2011 following their initial meeting at Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt's wedding in Italy, E! News reports. Three years later, the couple got engaged and Nicky's sister Paris congratulated them via Instagram.

Hilton's younger brother, Conrad, reportedly did not attend the wedding as he is currently under house arrest for assaulting two flight attendants, reports Page Six. Nicky's parents Rick and Kathy Hilton had to reschedule Conrad's court appearance, set for July 10, so they could attend the wedding.
