The Huawei Nexus 6 will have a similar rear fingerprint scanner as the upcoming LG Nexus, if freshly leaked 3D Computer-aided designs are to be believed.

The draft was shared online by the reliable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer aka @OnLeaks. It gained almost 124,000 views in two days. You can access the leaked 3D CAD renders here.

Citing the leaked render video, GSM Arena elaborated on the similarities between the Huawei Nexus and LG Nexus.

Both devices are equipped with the new Type-C microUSB port, which will become the norm in smartphone connectivity for years to come as well as having the same stereo speakers design.

One key difference is that the Huawei Nexus 6's dual-LED dual-tone flash rests at the side of its main camera whereas the LG Nexus 5's flash is at the bottom of its main snapshooter.

According to USwitch although the renders heavily hint at a 5.7-inch display, its sources claimed that Huawei is testing two displays as of the moment. Huawei is currently debating on a 5.5-inch display or 5.7-inch display.

Hemmerstoffer, on the other hand, believes Huawei will eventually choose the latter. He also posted about the handset's dimensions on his Twitter feed.

He said the Huawei Nexus 6 will have a metal body frame and will be 159.4​mm long, 78.3mm wide, and 6.6mm to 8.5mm thick.

The handset is rumored to be released in October or November, in time for the highly profitable Holiday market.

Meanwhile, Huawei's upcoming product has been subjected to the AnTuTu benchmarking, which has revealed a generous amount of the device's specs.

The Huawei Mate 7S's overall score was 46,776, GSM Arena reported.

To put that in perspective, the best performing Android smartphone in Antutu's latest ranking is the Samsung Galaxy S6 with an overall score of 67,520.

The next-gen Huawei Mate smartphone will come with a with a 5.7-inch 1080p touchscreen display, Huawei's very own HiSilicon Kirim SoC 935 processor, and will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop . It will be boosted by an octa-core 2.1 GHz CPU and the Mali-T628MP4 GPU.

The device will be fitted with a 20-megapixel main camera and a 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It will have 3GB of RAM and up to 32GB of internal storage.

The Huawe Mate 7S is scheduled to be unveiled this September 2 at the IFA event in Berlin.
