"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans was arrested on Thursday in Horry County, South Carolina after allegedly assaulting her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith's new girlfriend.

According to WBTW, police were called to the Myrtle Beach area home Evans and Griffith share for an assault at about 2 p.m. The victim, who identified herself as Griffith's girlfriend, said that she was at the home helping Griffith pack and move his belongings, since he no longer lives at the residence.

The victim, 29, told police that Evans threw a drinking glass that struck her on the head.

"She was assaulted by her boyfriend's ex, who threw a drinking glass at her head, causing injury," the Horry County Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly in a statement.

The 23-year-old was arrested around 2 p.m. on Thursday and charged with assault in the third degree, according to WBTW.

The mugshot of a brunette and expressionless Evans was released from the Horry County Police Department in South Carolina.
