Social Media Roundup: Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato & Mario Lopez Pay Tribute to Idols [Photos]
This week some of our favorite Latino stars, including Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato and Mario Lopez, shared a few words of admiration and gratitude for their idols.
After Fifth Harmony's performance on the "1989" World Tour, Cabello, who told Billboard that Swift was her "musical queen," took to Instagram to explain to her fans how she too is a member of the Taylor Swift fanbase, regardless of her own fame.
"Before we met and became friends, before our heart to hearts about boys and love and heartache and Internet slang, I new every word of every song and said in every interview how much I looked up to her as an artist and as a person," she captioned the video. "And last night she invited us to perform on the 1989 tour and she was the sixth harmony!!! I almost went into a fit of tears as we were going up the risers but I was like CAMILA PULL IT TOGETHER. Thank you so much Tay and her swifties for making us feel so welcome."
Like Cabello, singer Demi Lovato recently shared some thoughts on Instagram about her own musical idol, Kelly Clarkson.
Lovato, who turned 23 on Aug. 20, was amazed to learn that Clarkson, who is currently on tour, performed a cover of "Cool for the Summer" in honor of Lovato's birthday, reported MTV.
"If someone would've told me when I when I was little that one day @kellyclarkson would one day cover one of MY songs at HER concert for MY BIRTHDAY, I would call you crazy and never believe you again," said Lovato. "Well last night THE QUEEN DID and she has no idea what it means to me."
Lovato, who called it "the coolest birthday gift ever," also took the time to congratulate the "Heartbeat Song" singer on her second pregnancy, which she announced while getting emotional on stage.

Television host and actor, Mario Lopez used his Instagram account to wish one of his favorite actors, Robert De Niro, a happy birthday. The 41-year-old posted a photo of a still of a young De Niro dressed as Vito Corleone in "The Godfather Part 2."
Lopez captioned the photo with "Happy 72nd birthday to one of the greatest to ever do it Mr. Robert De Niro!"
The Mexican-American star, who has interviewed a variety of famous names as an entertainment correspondent for Extra, called the actor a legend.
