Troubled reality TV star Josh Duggar has checked into a rehab facility after admitting that he had an account with the Ashley Madison website that he used to be unfaithful to his wife.

According to TMZ, though they failed to reveal what exactly he is being treated for, Duggar family members described the facility where he is seeking help as a "long-term treatment center."

Duggar recently described himself as the "biggest hypocrite ever" after he was forced to admit he had an addiction to porn and had cheated on his wife. Prior to that, TLC canceled the family's "19 Kids and Counting" reality show after it was it was revealed he had previously molested as many as five children, four of them his own family members.

Though his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, have largely refrained from publicly criticising him over any of his wayward actions, TMZ reports this time they are openly being chastising him.

"His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others, they said. "He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear."

Reports are long-suffering wife Anna is now receiving counseling for her "heart and future" -- and the family is praying that Josh comes to "complete repentance and sincere change."

After news of the molestation episodes broke and the show was officially canceled, Josh and his then Washington, D.C. based family moved back to his native Arkansas. Duggar was also forced to resign from his post as Executive Director of the Family Research Council.

Josh and his wife reportedly purchased the Arkansas property a year or so before his news of his past digressions erupted into a full-blown scandal.
