September is a particularly great month to be a PS Plus member, since the list of free games includes several new releases and one title voted on by members.

All free games go live starting Tuesday, Sept. 1, as well as 30 percent discounts on other titles through the 15th of the month.

PlayStation US recently posted the results of the Vote to Play campaign, where PS Plus members were given the chance to vote on a game to be included for the September Plus release, and Grow Home was officially declared the winner.

Grow Home is a game where you get to play as a Wall-E type robot, specifically a Botanical Utility Droid (or BUD - cute!), who searches far and wide throughout the universe looking for plant life to bring back oxygen-creators to his home planet. Yes, the title is adorably clever, too.

Originally released for Windows in February, the game got overall positive reviews. Some critics raved about its open world discovery-based gameplay. Through the campaign, you and BUD scale a giant "Star Plant," a "jack and the beanstalk" sort of affair. However, you control each limb of the robot individually, and if you fall, BUD self-destructs.

Grow Home's release date for PS4 is Tuesday, Sept. 1, and PS Plus members get it for free.

Other free games launching on PS Plus in September include Xeodrifter, a highly anticipated 2D platformer that has had a long road to finally being released for PS4 and PSVita.

Super Time Force Ultra, a ridiculous robot and dinosaur-exploding action title, comes out on PS4 and PS Vita for $15 and free for PS Plus members. Speaking of ridiculous, explosion-filled fun games, Twisted Metal makes an appearance for PS3 on PS Plus's September list. Other titles include 2D puzzler Teslagrad for PS4 and PS3, and classic platform adventure title La-Mulana EX.

Many more games, including those that didn't win the Vote to Play contest like Armello or Zombie Vikings, are available to PS Plus members, starting Sept. 1 until Sept. 15, for 30 percent off.
