Mobile technology is as fast-paced in this day and age as ever before and Motorola isn't veering away from the trend. The Moto X Pure Edition and the next generation Moto 360 are now officially available for pre-order, Phone Arena reported. However, rumor has it that the Illinois-based company has another unreleased smartphone in tow.

It was earlier reported that Motorola is currently working on Moto "Bounce." Now, a reliable tipster has updated his previous leak on the said device. Apparently, the Moto "Bounce" will be officially known as the Moto X Force.

The latest render comes from the Twitter account of @upleaks. The image presented a black variant of the handset with Motorola's trademark design on its back. The same Malaysian-based leaker previously showed off a white version of the Moto X Force, codenamed "Bounce," while also stating that the handset will come with a "shatterproof" build.

The seemingly fixed design on the Moto X Force would be a break from Motorola's core maxim of letting their consumers have final customization control over their Moto devices.

"Motorola's handsets -- like the Moto G and Moto X Pure/Play -- typically focus on letting the buyer customize the phone's look and feel, but the company has yet to tackle the notion of a more rough and tumble design. Although this type of ruggedized handset is much less emphasized recently in favor of cases people purchase separately, the rumor highlights a common problem buyers have protecting their expensive phones from drops and breaks -- accidents that can have costly effects," CNet explained.

Regarding the Moto X Force's hardware specs, the device will have a 5.43-inch QHD display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset, and 3 GB of RAM. It packs a 3,760 mAh battery, which is perfect for those who uses their handsets for heavy gaming, viewing movies and playing music.

Moto X Force will be equipped with a 21-megapixel main camera, similar to the Moto X Style, and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, while having 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage.

Motorola has a reputation of rebranding their smartphones though. The Moto X Force might just be the tweaked international version of the US-exclusive Motorola DROID Turbo 2.

"We wouldn't be too shocked if the Motorola Bounce [Moto X Force] is just another name for the upcoming Droid Turbo 2. After all, the original Droid Turbo launched with specs that were more advanced than even the Moto X. The Droid Turbo eventually arrived at international markets under the name Moto Maxx, and so it stands to reason that the Bounce could be the international variant of the Turbo 2," Android Authority speculated.

The Moto X Force is rumored to release this December.
