The hype for anything "Star Wars Battlefront" is through the roof, and EA is letting everyone get a taste with the game's beta.

According to the official release on the game's website, the "Star Wars Battlefront" beta will be open to all players. Unlike many beta versions that require users to pre-order the upcoming game, this highly anticipated shooter is set to be widespread with its commitment to non-exclusivity.

The announcement revealed a beta that offers multiple options so players can enjoy their preferred experience to the full extent.

"The beta will consist of both our offline and online modes including co-op and split-screen co-op," community manager Mathew Everett explained, before spilling more details about the much-awaited "Star Wars" game.

Players can check out the Survival Mission mode, whether they prefer taking on Tatooine in single-player mode, or online and split-screen co-op.

Multiplayer missions are particularly exciting with the beta including modes such as Walker Assault on Hoth and the recently announced Drop Zone.

A recent Latin Post report explained the Drop Zone mode, which has pods dropping from the sky into various landing sites all over the map. The Rebel and Empire teams race to collect and protect as many of these pods as possible; the winning side is the one who gets five pods or the majority in ten minutes.

In the official EA report, lead level designer Dennis Brännvall emphasized their desire to create a game that's both exciting and challenging to the players.

"We're promoting the idea of a fast, action-packed game where you need to be mobile and think on your feet," he said. "Camping doesn't really pay off."

The Drop Zone can be played in a host of different destinations including Tattooine, Hoth, Sullust and Endor. For the upcoming beta, the players can test out the gameplay mode on Sullust.

It's only one of the many features that are piling up to make this one of the top video game releases of the year. And the developers aren't finished yet.

"Get ready for the beta release date and also make sure your system is ready to download the beta the moment it goes live," Everett said in the release. "Keep your eyes peeled for myself and many other developers during the live beta as we have some cool stuff planned."

He added, "As I mentioned a few weeks back, our team is working hard to continue to gather the proper details around features, modes, weapons, vehicles, and more."

The beta for "Star Wars Battlefront" is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Origin for PC. No release date has been confirmed yet, but the shooter game is expected to drop in October 2015, according to VG247.

"Star Wars Battlefront" will land in the market on Nov. 17, 2015.
