As if another gaming title to their popular RPG series wouldn't be enough, Bethesda will also be launching a "Fallout-themed Monopoly" game later this year.

Bethesda left cellar-dwellers a lot to think about after it teased the upcoming board game last Sept. 2 on its official Twitter page.

Two weeks have passed, and the Maryland-based video game company has now officially detailed the contents of "Monopoly: Fallout Collector's Edition."

According to the Bethesda Store, fans will rebuild civilization while playing the "Fallout-themed Monopoly" game. They can do so by buying, selling and trading through the Fallout Wasteland.

The board game's iconic tenants have also been rebranded. Houses are called "Shacks" while hotels will be known as "Vaults." The board game's paper money has been imprinted with 'Nuka-Cola" bottle caps. Meanwhile, its tokens take on the form of well-known Fallout figures.

As its official name implies, fans might as well collect the upcoming board game if they have no intention of playing it.

For what it's worth, "Monopoly: Fallout Collector's Edition" will include the following, as per the Bethesda Store:

  • Six collectible tokens with a wasteland inspired distressed finish: 10mm Pistol, MiniNuke, Nuka-Cola Bottle, Power Armor Helmet, Vault Boy, and Vault 111
  • Custom game board features locations from all four Fallout video games
  • Houses and Hotels renamed Shacks and Vaults
  • Vault Dweller's Survival Guide and You're S.P.E.C.I.A.L. cards replace Chance & Community Chest Cards
  • Custom Fallout Money
  • Instructions

"Monopoly" isn't an exciting game. It takes too much time to finish, and its gameplay is too repetitive. A "Fallout Monopoly" would still be much of the same, Game Zone reported.

"Monopoly: Fallout Collector's Edition" is produced by USAopoly and is now available for pre-purchase for $40. The board game will most likely retail alongside "Fallout 4."

Speculation on the upcoming video game title began as soon as "Fallout 3" released back in 2008. It has since been one of the most hotly awaited video games for next-gen consoles and PC.

In "Fallout 4," players wake up from a cryogenic sleep chamber at the start of the game.

"We now stand on the brink of total war - and I am afraid. For myself, for my wife, for my infant son. Because if my time in the Army taught me one thing, it's that war - war never changes," protagonist says in his opening monolog. The quote is an entry from a leaked "Fallout 4" document obtained by Kotaku.

Cryogenic sleep or amnesia is a fitting plot device for game developers wanting their protagonists to know as little about the environment in the game as the player, Game Spot reported.

"Fallout 4" will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Nov. 10,.
