The Ubisoft title is finally getting a release date after being delayed for 6 months.

The surprise announcement was made through the Watch Dogs story trailer which was posted on Ubisoft's European Youtube channel, notes ArsTechnica. The date is seen at the end of the trailer, reading 05.27.14 and reportedly referring to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC versions release.

A screenshot of the scene was also tweeted by the title's official Twitter account, saying "The Watch_Dogs release date has been confirmed. Resuming Transmissions_"

The much awaited hacking game has been delayed after its initial November 2013 launch fell through, notes GameSpot. A month before the expected November 19 release date, Ubisoft has made the announcement, saying that the delay would allow the title to "fulfill its huge ambition" and "offer players even more exceptional experiences," reports ArsTechnica.

As a result, Sony, who has reportedly started promoting a console & Watch Dogs bundle for pre-order had to retract, says GameSpot. According to ArsTechnica, the retraction has left retailers "scrambling to shuffle bundle pre-orders around."

Now, a new report saying that the Sony game console is once again available bundled up with the hacking game has been posted online. Via the PlayStation Eu blogsite, the PlayStation-maker has confirmed that Watch Dogs will be available in PS3 and PS4 bundles.

"We are also pleased to announce that exclusive Watch_Dogs bundles for both PS4 and PS3 will also be available for launch on 27th May. And remember, you get an additional 60 minutes of exclusive gameplay on PS3 and PS4 only available on PlayStation."

However, the PS3, PS4 and Watch Dogs bundle might only be available in the UK as PlayStation US has not made any announcement regarding any bundle releasing on May 27. The PlayStation Eu post also has not specified where bundles will be available on the title's release date.

PlayStation Eu describes the title as follows:

"In Watch_Dogs, Aiden Pearce, our clandestine vigilante, harnesses the smart city of Chicago using his smartphone. In addition to being a skilled hacker, Aiden can be quite persuasive in getting the information he needs using his wit, along with firearms, vehicles, and a stun baton. However, in his work Aiden stumbles upon a dark underworld he was never meant to see - the cost of which takes a deadly toll on his family."
