"I Don't Have the Heart" singer James Ingram is ready to say goodbye to his Los Angeles home, which he owned for more than three decades.

The 63-year-old crooner, who is also known for the hit song "Just Once," lists his Hancock Park estate for almost $1.95 million, Los Angeles Times announced. The talented songwriter only paid $268,000 for the California property in 1982, noted the news outlet, citing real estate public records. The R&B singer with a soulful and cool-sounding voice commissioned Harma Hartouni of Keller Williams as the listing agent for his property.

The 3,250-square-foot abode with a Spanish vibe features five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The dwelling place also displays a living room and a dining room. The next owners will find cooking an easy task for the house as it comes with a modern kitchen. The upgraded cooking station boasts an enviable and a chef's dream amenity, a walk-in pantry and a small breakfast eat-in area.

The celebrity home will definitely provide the old house grandeur and glamour to its new residents, which many house hunters seek. The Hancock Park residence showcases soaring ceilings, artistic wrought iron staircase railing, aesthetic stained-glass windows and vintage light accents.

The grounds display a patio and a garage that can accommodate two cars. Plant lovers will also enjoy working in the greenhouse to tend to their blooming nature's works of art.

A multi-awarded music artist

The singer-songwriter is rewarded with several accolades like being nominated twice for the Academy Awards for Best Music and Original Song in two consecutive years (1994 and 1995) for the songs "The Day I Fall in Love" and "Look What Love Has Done" respectively, IMDB noted.

He also took home a Grammy for Song of the Year Award for "Somewhere Out There" featured in the 1986 animated film titled, "The American Tail." As a performer, he also received a Grammy for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Male in 1982 in Los Angeles, Grammy.com noted.

Before he received such awards to prove he is one great music artist, he never thought he was a good singer when he was young, informed Chicago Tribune in 2013. The world-famous artist started singing in a choir while a lad and he did not know he could actually be a great solo performer.

"I'm telling you, the people that I was playing behind in Akron, Ohio. I knew I couldn't sing. That's how great they were.I wasn't trying. I was just doing background," the "Whatever We Imagine" singer said.
