Billboard has released the 2013 "Rich List" and the top earner musician is no other than Taylor Swift.

According to the report, the 23-year old singer has amassed $39,699,575.60 in earnings for the year 2013. The reported earning does not take into account merchandising, branding and sponsorships yet.

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer reportedly ranks 8th in album sales while taking the 6th spot for digital download ranking at nearly 10 million DLs in the past year, says Billboard. But what really influenced the singer's top-notch earning is touring.

"Swift's revenue from six months of touring the United States on the global Red Tour tops all of her fellow Money Makers with an estimated take of $30 million," quotes Billboard.

Following Taylor is Kenny Chesney, who made $32,956,240.70 the past year. The 45-year old country star is said to have solid digital and physical 'Life on a Rock' album sales. The April 2013 album ranked 1 on the Billboard 200 and the Billboard Top Country Albums.

Justin Timberlake scored the 3rd spot with over a $1 million difference in earnings from Kenny Chesney. Billboard notes that JT's strong points include his impressive digital album sales, and solo as well as collab shows.

Bands Bon Jovi and The Rolling Stones come in next, with each earning $29,436,801.04 and $26,225,121.71 respectively. According to Billboard, Bon Jovi's 'What About Now' album, which topped the Billboard 200, and merchandise sales accounted for the top 4 Money Maker spot. The Rolling Stones, on the other hand, sold out every show, "averaging a whopping $4.7 million gross and 14,000 in attendance at U.S. arenas," notes Billboard.

The rest of the list is comprised of Beyonce who earned $24,429,176.86, Maroon 5 earning $22,284,754.07, country star Luke Bryan who earned $22,142,235.98 in 2013, 'Just Give Me a Reason' singer Pink who earned $20,072,072.32 and band Fleetwood Mac earning $19,123,101.98, reports Billboard.
