Jordan Brand is expected to make a lot of noise again this weekend with the release of a highly anticipated colorway of one of their most popular Air Jordan models.

Jordan Brand will release the Air Jordan 8 Retro in what is dubbed as the "Three Time's a Charm" edition, which is also being coined by most sneakerheads as the "Three-Peat" edition.

According to Nike, this edition was named as "Three Time's a Charm" or "Three-Peat" edition because it pays tribute to the first three NBA championships of Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan from 1991 to 1993 before he first decided to leave the game of basketball.

"The Air Jordan 8 Retro returns, with the newest colorway paying tribute to Chicago's first three-peat championship season, while taking color cues from each of the three defeated teams," Nike noted.

The Air Jordan 8 Retro "Three-Peat" edition, which is officially listed as the White/Infrared23-Black-Bright Concord colorway, features a white-based upper part combined with black hints, including the tongue and laces. It was finished off with white midsole and black-based outsole.

The most noticeable features of this edition are the vivid hues, which represent the teams Jordan and the Bulls defeated during their first three-peat -- the Los Angeles Lakers in 1991, Portland Trail Blazers in 1992 and Phoenix Suns in 1993. These vivid hues can be found near the heel area, tongue and outsole.

The Air Jordan 8 Retro "Three Time's A Charm" edition will hit the market on Saturday, Oct. 24. It will be available for $190 per pair on Nike.com and selected retailers worldwide.

Meanwhile, Jordan Brand fans are also eagerly waiting for the release of the Air Jordan 1 High Retro "The Return" edition, which is also being coined as the Air Jordan 1.5 "The Return" version.

The Air Jordan 1 High Retro "The Return" edition, which is officially listed as the White/Black-Soar colorway, has a white and blue-based upper part with black Nike Swoosh logo, laces, tongue and lining. It was finished off with a white midsole and blue outsole.

There is an interesting story about this shoe, as it was the model worn by Jordan, when he returned from a foot injury during the 1985-86 season. He had a hard time picking between Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 2. In turn, this model, which has the upper part of the Air Jordan 1 and elements of the air Jordan 2, was created.

The Air Jordan 1 High Retro "The Return" will be available on Thursday with retail price set at $150 per pair.
