Latin Songstress Shakira is back in action with the double release of her self-titled album and music video for her second single, "Empire."

Shakira's new 'Empire' music video debuted yesterday, already earning her over two million hits on YouTube. The video was released in conjunction with her self-titled 10th studio album that features twelve tracks. For the full track listing, click here.

Much like the release of her "Can't Remember to Forget You" music video featuring Rihanna, "Empire" visually stuns and demands attention from the moment you press play.

The video to the pop-rock ballad begins with a close-up on Shakira as a blushing bride with an equally blush-colored wedding gown. She starts off sitting elegantly as she waits to be wed, singing, "Take of all of your skin and brave when you are free."

We then cut to Shakira walking down the aisle looking uncertain about the decision to marry her husband to be. She then channels her inner Julia Roberts and storms out of the church as a "Runaway Bride."

Perhaps the most shocking and visually stunning part of the video is Shakira singing on the church steps as her wedding gown goes up in flames. That's right, Shakira's wedding dress lights up on fire in the music video. Think Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Kudos to the music video directors Darren Craig, Johnathan Craven, and Jeff Nicholas. They shot the video in Barcelona and were able to brilliantly capture its beauty all while creating a simple yet visually impacting video. Success!

Although we hope that the video's theme is not a prelude to Shakira's current relationship with boyfriend, Gerard Pique, we give the video and song an A+. The catchy "Empire" chorus will have you vigorously nodding your head as you channel your inner rock star.

How do you guys like the video? Yay or nay?
