Nike will release new colorways of the popular signature models -- Kobe 10 Elite and KD 8 -- this week.

The Kobe 10 Elite, the latest signature shoe of Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, will come out in University Red-White-Obsidian-Bright Crimson colorway, which is now officially listed as the "American" edition.

According to Nike, this edition was made to pay tribute to United States leaders and was also inspired by the stars and stripes. This edition features a red-upper part combined with obsidian hints and a white Nike Swoosh logo.

The Kobe 10 Elite "American" edition also has star prints on the tongue and white mamba logo on the insole. It was finished off with an obsidian midsole and a translucent outsole.

This edition will be available on Tuesday with retail price set at $225 per pair on Nike.com and selected stores worldwide. Official photos and related items are available on the official product page.

Aside from the new Kobe 10 Elite, Nike are also expected to make waves with the release of a new colorway of the KD 8, the popular signature shoe of Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant.

The KD 8 will arrive at retailers in Wolf Grey/Court Purple-Cool Grey-Blue Lagoon colorway, which is officially listed as the "P.G. County" edition.

According to Nike, this colorway is a tribute to Prince George's County in Maryland, where Durant started his journey to become one of the best basketball players of his generation. Durant honed his skills in Maryland before he started his collegiate career in Texas and eventually became a superstar in the big league.

"Kevin Durant's incredible journey to All-Star and MVP status began in Prince George's County, Maryland," Nike noted. "In this collection, a colorful crest and bright crimson fade honor his Seat Pleasant roots and rise to superstardom."

This edition features a grey-based upper part, including the laces, combined with court purple, cool grey and blue lagoon detailing on the tongue and outsole. It was also finished with a dark yellow midsole, which gave the shoe a strong look to get sneakerheads' attention.

The KD 8 "PG County" will be released on Wednesday on Nike.com and selected retailers worldwide. It will be available for $180 per pair. Detailed photos and images of related items can be seen on this link.
