It was confirmed that the "Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" will be exclusive on the PlayStation 4. The upcoming collection of remastered games may not be appearing on Xbox One consoles anytime soon much to the disappointment of fans.

The news of "Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" being a PS4-exclusive game was confirmed by PlayStation Ireland on Twitter. According to Express, the tweet has been deleted by the account. However, it presents another insight as to whether the game will be a time-exclusive remaster or if it will arrive on other platforms like the Xbox One.

"Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" is developed by Activision and the PS4 release date of the remastered games has been set to June 30 of this year. The earlier titles of the "Crash Bandicoot" franchise were made by Naughty Dog. According to Gaming Bolt, "Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" collection of remastered games are handled by Vicarious Visions and the rights of the franchise are now over to Activision as a third party studio.

There may still be a possibility of "Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy" coming over to several platforms like the Xbox One even though the first several titles were PS-exclusive. This is because Activision is not hampered by any legalities if it chooses to publish it for other consoles.

In addition to the release date, several screenshots from the "Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" were released. The remastered versions will be a recreation of the original titles while having better graphics thanks to the PS4 platform. It has been reported that players will be able to save more efficiently in the "Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" as they will no longer have to start at the beginning every time. Furthermore, players can look forward to a new Time Trial mode for all three remastered versions.
