It's been a long way since Nintendo has teased and hyped their newest console, Switch. The Japanese company has marketed the device as a hybrid console that allows versatile playing style. However, when they revealed the $300 price tag some fans were understandably upset as the console doesn't come bundle with games.

In an interview with Telegraph, Nintendo's Shinya Takahashi and Yoshiaki Koizumi explains the value of the Nintendo Switch. While they are aware that the $300 price tag of the device can be steep for some people, they are glad some agreed the different type of gaming it offers find the cost suitable.

The pair touched on the Joy-Con controllers of the Nintendo Switch and explains the overall compact size of the device is a new technology in the industry. It is precisely because with the detachable Joy-Con controllers that it offers a new kind of gaming style. This allows the Nintendo Switch to be brought outside where players can continue playing their game and interact with others.

They also acknowledged that others grumbled about the kind of power that the Nintendo Switch packs or the memory it inherently has compared to the PlayStation 4 Pro or the Xbox One S. Takahashi and Koizumi hope that when they experience the Nintendo Switch in person, they will understand the $300 price tag of the console.

The Nintendo Switch will officially release on March 3 next month and pre-orders have been made by excited fans. In addition to the highly anticipated "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" launch title for the console, other titles have been announced as well.

It seems the Nintendo Switch will also be showcasing the latest titles from classic franchises including "Sonic Mania," "Fire Emblem," and "Dragon Quest Heroes" to name a few, according to Express.
