Former President Donald Trump is now in Georgia and has been arrested shortly after he arrived. He will be having a new Georgia lawyer to represent him for his 4th indictment in the state.

The former president reportedly arrived at the Fulton County Jail where he was arrested. He is set to be released after paying a $200,000 bond. However, the former president arrived in a presidential-style motorcade, according to NBC News.

"I have to start getting ready to head down to Atlanta, Georgia" to "get ARRESTED by a Radical Left, Lowlife District Attorney, Fani Willis," said Trump on Thursday afternoon ahead of his arrest. "Arrest time: 7:30 p.m."

The former president left his New Jersey home in his resort in Bedminster shortly before 4:00 pm ET. Upon arriving at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, he was greeted by the media where he was seen giving a thumbs-up to the cameras.

Donald Trump Arrested, Used a Bail Bonds Service To Post Bail

Trump is expected to be fingerprinted and have his mugshot taken, as promised by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office. However, after posting his $200,000 bail, he is also expected to be released quickly.

Trump did not use his supposed billions of dollars in personal money to pay his bail, as he used a Georgia bail bonds service. According to NBC News, a bonding agent at Foster Bail Bonds in Lawrenceville, Georgia confirmed that Trump used their services to post his bond before he was arrested.

The agent for the firm revealed that the typical fee in Fulton County is around 10%. However, the agent did not confirm the exact amount of bond that was posted. Charles Shaw, the CEO of Foster Bail Bonds, was inside the jail when Donald Trump was arrested. The firm is also posting bail for some of the 18 other co-defendants, though did not name names.

Donald Trump Replaces Georgia-Based Lawyer

According to CNN, for this particular case that had Donald Trump arrested, the former president has already replaced his previous local Georgia lawyer Drew Finding with Atlanta-based lawyer Steven Sadow, who has already been seen greeting Trump as he arrives in Georgia. Trump is required to have a local Georgia-based attorney to represent him in the state as he faces this latest election meddling case.

Sadow has been described by his law firm's official website as a "special counsel for white-collar and high-profile defense." He was added to the Trump defense team after he previously challenged the state's broad RICO law, which charged Donald Trump and 18 other co-defendants, including Rudy Giuliani, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and many more.

Paperwork to have Sadow represent Trump has already been filed. As for the attorney he is replacing, a Trump source stated it was not because of Finding's performance but because Sadow has been described as the "best criminal defense attorney in Georgia." Another Georgia-based attorney, Jenniffer Little, is expected to stay on the team.
