Adele performed "Hello" at France's NRJ Awards in Cannes, France on Saturday, Nov. 7.

The 27-year-old British singer performed the emotional ballad on stage with a live band and was flanked by backup singers, according to Billboard.

Adele made her debut of her new single earlier this week during her BBC One special with Graham Norton. This was the singer's first time back on stage after her three-year hiatus. For the interview segment of the special Adele talks with Norton and debunks some rumors, such as why she's not allowed to access her own Twitter account.

"I'm not a drinker any more but when Twitter first came out I was drunk tweeting and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times," Adele said of the rumor.

"So my management decided that you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone, but they're all my tweets. No one writes my tweets. They just post them for me. So, yeah, that's very, very true."

The BBC One special is set to air later this month.

The singer will also be performing at her upcoming "Adele Live in New York City" concert special, which will take place on Monday, Dec. 14 and air on NBC. Before this Adele will also make an appearance on "Saturday Night Live" as the musical guest on Saturday, Nov. 21 with host Matthew McConaughey.

"Hello" went straight to No. 1 on the Official U.K. Album Chart last week and has also become the fastest selling single of 2015.

Adele is set to release her third studio album, "25," on Friday, Nov. 20. This will be the follow-up to her Grammy-winning album "21," which produced the singles "Rolling in the Deep," "Someone like You," "Set Fire to the Rain," "Rumour Has It" and "Turning Tables."
