September 21st is just a few short weeks away, and the premiere of "Gotham" is in arm's reach. In anticipation of the upcoming season, FOX has released 14 images of some of the series key characters, just in time to spark conversation about what's next.
The season finale of the crime-drama "Gotham," "All Happy Families Are Alike," was met with increased ratings, as the war between mobsters Falcone and Maroni escalated, and death and mayhem arose in the series' other storylines.
The anticipative queen of "Gotham," Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) may have lost an eye while held captive by the Dollmaker (Colm Feore), but that doesn't mean she'll lose the battle.
"Gotham" detectives Harvey Bullock and Jim Gordon will be protecting the streets of the metropolis for a little longer, now that Fox has announced that it has ordered an additional six episodes of the fresh, dark thriller, boosting the number of episodes to be released this season to a total of 22.
A new Batman series entitled "Gotham" is currently in the works. With a "Smallville" meets Christopher Nolan backdrop, the FOX series will bring the origins of the Caped Crusader to live-action.
