Will "Jessica Jones'" villain Kilgrave appear on other Marvel Cinematic Universe television series?

David Tennant, who played the iconic villain in the Netflix series "Jessica Jones," has hinted that he is open to the idea.

"The Marvel universe, like any fantasy universe, can do whatever it likes. Killgrave's end in Jessica Jones is pretty final. I'm certainly not fielding calls from Marvel at the moment. But yeah, I think those may occur in the future. I mean, you would be foolish to rule anything out," Tennant told The Daily Beast.

Indeed, the devious character Tennant portrayed has already said goodbye to the fans of the show, Vulture noted. In the show's season finale, Jessica Jones was able to fight Kilgrave's mind control power. Yet, she tried her best to trick Kilgrave that he could actually manipulate her still. She smiled when she was asked and said "I love You" when commanded to. However, when she had the opportunity, she grabbed his face and snapped his neck.

Yet, Kilgrave will leave a lasting impression for those who watched the series ardently. Several fans even considered him as one of the best villains in the MCU they have watched, basing on comments on a YouTube video below.

A separate article on Vulture noted the reasons why his character is so effective in eliciting terror, fear and awe simultaneously. His deep desire of Jessica Jones is one reason. Another is that his kind of superpower is hard to resist, even Luke, Jessica's love partner, was under his spell in the end.

Basing on Tennant's descriptions on The Daily Beast, Kilgrave is truly a complicated and interesting character at the same time.

"His world has been so corrupted and damaged by this extraordinary ability that has been foisted upon him that he doesn't understand the world from any kind of moral high ground. He genuinely doesn't have an understanding of empathy. He has no way of having a properly calibrated human relationship," Tennant described his character.

So, is there really a possibility that Kilgrave can guest star in other MCU TV series?

If Marvel truly aims to bring back Kilgrave, it can actually try. Fortunately, it would not even be a really difficult challenge on their part. Kilgrave may even grace the set of "Daredevil," especially the blind superhero, Matt Murdock, has encountered him in the comics version. Marvel noted that "Purple Man," also known as "Killgrave the Purple Man," abducted Murdock's secretary Karen Page in one instance.

Will Marvel exploit this side story to bring Kilgrave into "Daredevil?"
