This year's Forbes' "30 Under 30" list in Hollywood and Entertainment category featured no repeats. With that said, previous honorees such as Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Coogler, Lena Dunham or Issa Rae won't be on the 2016 list. And since the game of popularity has evolved this year, the common formula for success has been changed and gone are those who rose to fame through YouTube video uploads, historical hip-hop musicals or highest-grossing first films.

In the past, the youth was often overshadowed in terms of professional success because of the common notion that older people tend to have more resources, more knowledge and more money. But today, growing up in an era of digitalization is an advantage. And this year, 30 of the brightest stars in Hollywood were named for their contributions and influences as they help shape the entertainment landscape off-set, Forbes noted.

Aside from actors, this year's list, which was chosen by a panel of judges including Legendary Entertainment founder Thomas Tull, Kelly Osborne and Shonda Rhimes, also include agents, writers and entrepreneurs as well as those celebrities who have become outspoken advocates on social justice issues. And among the most notable celebs are "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actors John Boyega and Daisy Ridley, both 23, "Games of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke, 29, Disney Channel star Zendaya, 19, and 28-year-old Rachel Bloom, among others, USA Today listed.

"John Boyega should get used to seeing his likeness on action figures and lunch boxes: His first major-studio movie is also expected to be one of the highest-grossing films in history," the magazine wrote of the actor, who played the role of reformed Stormtrooper Finn in the blockbuster film.

"Girls" star Zosia Mamet, "Room's" Brie Larson, "50 Shades of Grey" star Dakota Johnson, "Straight Outta Compton" actors Jason Mitchell, O'Shea Jackson Jr. and Corey Hawkins, and "Brooklyn's" Saoirse Ronan also made it on the list. Alicia Vikander also earned a nod by her mesmerizing performances in "Ex Machina" and "The Danish Girl."

While Zendaya earned a nod with the way she responded to the racist comments made about her dreadlocked Oscars hairstyle. While actor Matt McGorry was noted that just with his performances on "Orange Is the New Black" and "How to Get Away with Murder," but more specifically to his outspokenness regarding the significance of #BlackLivesMatter campaign as well as gender equality.

Meanwhile, the process to make the Forbes' "30 Under 30" list is intense. The magazine actually looked at thousands of candidates from 20 different categories and consider their game-changing quotient along various dimensions including impact, use of cutting edge technology or creativity, scalability or adaptability, number of people reached and dollars raised or generated.
