Starting March 1, those who are under Microsoft's Xbox One Preview program can get the first taste of the latest updates.

"This month's update is all about our continued commitment to listen to all of you and transform the Xbox experience based on your feedback," Xbox Live's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb told his followers on his blog.

"Today, we're excited to announce a few features that you've been asking for which are coming to Xbox One, the Xbox app, or both," he wrote. "The host of updates include top-voted Xbox Feedback requests such as the ability to purchase Xbox 360 Backward Compatible games on Xbox One and improving social features like Party Chat broadcasting to Twitch."

Now, gamers can buy these Xbox 360 Backward Compatible titles alongside their favorite Xbox One games. Upon purchase, the content will begin downloading automatically to the console for the gamers to play. This will be a welcome development for a lot of gamers, who find looking and launching Xbox 360 titles a bit of a challenge. With this update, they can now truly enjoy the benefit of having the Backward Compatibility option.

"Fans have spent more than 30 million hours playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One and so it's natural that being able to purchase Xbox 360 Backward Compatible games on Xbox One ranks as one of your top requests. With this update, you'll be able to do so," Hryb added.

Another major update is the Party Chat that has been given a new max limit of 16 people, which previously stands at 12 gamers, according to Engadget.

Apart from this, users can now have the luxury of listening to conversations simultaneously via their headset and speakers if they wish to do so. They can select listening on both audio devices by going to Settings, then Display & Sounds and Volume.

Party Chat broadcasts can now be used on the Twitch app as well. Party members using their Windows 10 computers can also be included in the broadcast.

Those using the Xbox app (beta) can now have access to the Gamerscore Leaderboard feature that Xbox One users have already been using for weeks. The "Featured" gaming section was also given an update, according to Hryb.
