For a 74-year-old singer and artist, their constant battle between their career and health can cause a lot of stress and tension. The limelight when they were young was enough with just a few songs with less competition, although nobody contests on how timeless their hit songs are. But the trend now is different with world tours to catch up and the energy of much younger artists who can hang on a trapeze while singing.

But there is more about the voice of Barbra Streisand that is not only used singing, as she is now actively participating on political issues. With her recent attendance on the Women's March, she has very well shown where she is siding on. Feisty as always, Streisand's have made a double-meaning comment over an issue about free press that was addressed by Senator John McCain.

As long as the new administration of President Trump continues to implement policies that restrict certain rights, the group protesters like Barbra Streisand, Lady Gaga and more will always be defiant. This has been one of the many agenda of the "Evergreen" singer along with a few concerts and tours outside the country.

In the recently held Grammy awards, Barbra Streisand's "Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway" did not waver on the list of nominations. The album collaborated with international movie stars Hugh Jackman, Jamie Foxx, Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Antonio Banderas, Seth MacFarlane, Anne Hathaway and more as they duet in the tune of famous Broadway musicals. Grammy awards have nominated Streisand's thirty-fifth studio album for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album last February 12.

Sadly, there were some unconfirmed sources claiming to have seen the "Memory" hit maker on a recent visit to a throat specialist and her current medical condition was rumored to be cancer. Up to now, there hasn't been any confirmation from previous news of what the famous singer has been going through, aside from her album which was launched August last year. Barbra Streisand continues on with her concerts, the latest will be on May 4 and 6 in New York City.
