The iPhone 8 will have several variants and will be initially released in September this year. However, some analysts say that Apple will not be able to meet the demand and there will be shortage for the smartphones after the preorder period.

Apple has reportedly redesigned the iPhone 8 that many fans are waiting to get their hands on. However, an analyst who told MacRumors say that the firm may not be able to meet the high demand for the smartphone.

Analysts including Jerry Zhang and Blayne Curtis said that Apple's 10th anniversary iPhone will only be sold in short amounts when it gets unveiled in September. In addition to the iPhone 8, Apple will also be revealing two iPhone 7 models as well.

With the high demand, others who are willing to wait for the iPhone 8 may avail of the smartphone in the last quarter of 2017. The upcoming iPhone 8 Apple smartphone is said to have been dubbed by many names including iPhone X and iPhone Edition.

Mail Online reports that analysts believe the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 models to be unveiled in September will support wireless charging. Furthermore, it is rumored that the units will no longer have the physical home button and may come with glass, aluminum or ceramic designs.

Some iPhone models which may include the iPhone 8 is rumored to have OLED screens, a curved glass casing, facial recognition and a dual-lens 3D camera which can support augmented reality apps.

The tech giant is reportedly experimenting with the final look for the iPhone 8 which is why there are many prototypes. Additionally, the firm is busy getting new materials and developing the various models. The outlet adds that one of the reasons for the iPhone 8 delay is that Apple is replacing the Touch ID with their new custom fingerprint sensor technology.
