Samsung's Gear VR device has been added with a controller. There is no additional software or hardware added to the device but it will be available in a new color option called orchid gray. It will be available starting April 21 for $130.

The Verge reports that the only thing that's new with the Samsung Gear VR is the addition of the controller accessory. The device sans the battery-powered controller is still the same as the one the Samsung released last year including its specs.

The outlet adds that the Samsung Gear VR headset with controller will be easier to manage. The virtual reality experience will make navigating easier in terms of playing games or by just using the internet. The Samsung Gear VR controller can operate with one hand. It has a circle touch pad that can help choose menus as well as buttons for home, volume and more. Samsung will be releasing more than 50 games that will work with the new controller.

The Samsung Gear VR controller can be bought separately for those who already have the VR headsets. It can be purchased for $40. Tech Crunch reports that the controller was unveiled last month at the Mobile World Congress 2017. The Samsung Gear VR headset originally costs $99.

Those who want to get the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the new headset and controller, the company is offering a bundle for all devices. The Samsung Gear VR headset with controller is bundled with the Galaxy S8 and S8+ which is a great deal for those who want all items in one fell swoop. The VR devices don't work after all without the Samsung mobile phones.
