Our society today is dominated, controlled, and influenced by technology. The rise of social media, or social networking sites, has paved the way for many who want to pursue different advocacies by taking advantage of social media sites such as Instagram and Facebook.
Although the time we are living in now does not require any of us to be a celebrity in order to have millions of fans, many social media influencers were already celebrities way before the post-and-share era even began.
