Zoom Video Communications, Inc. announced the general availability of Zoom Phone cloud phone service in over 40 countries and territories around the world.

According to GLOBE NEWSWIRE, Zoom increased the availability of Zoom Phone cloud phone service to an additional 25 countries and territories. Aside from that, Zoom also has a new simplified telephone service plan for companies with locations across the globe. Below are the latest countries and territories Zoom Phone supports local phone numbers:

The expanded geographic coverage allows Zoom clients to migrate away from the legacy of phone systems and consolidate business communications into the Zoom video's first unified communications platform. 

Zoom launched the Global Select plan to help customers streamline their way of communication portfolio. With the new program, Zoom can purchase domestic calling in more than 40 countries and territories where Zoom gives PSTN service for a single price. Zoom aims to simplify the process while many companies with locations worldwide are negotiating telephone service agreements through different carriers. 

Besides the local service in more than 40 countries and territories, Zoom Phone gives telephone connectivity that covers the world through the "Bring Your Own Carrier" model. The connectivity includes a market where telephone services are highly regulated. 

The company will also continue providing an easy solution for companies that do not require specific direct numbers for each employee. These customers could also have the Zoom Phone Pro plan for cloud telephony service, which is available to each user for $8 per month only.

Elka Popova, Vice-President of Connected Work Research at Frost & Sullivan, said that Zoom Phone is changing the game with an innovative plan model and availability of Zoom Phone's product in more than 40 countries. Popova added that the product would be a compelling option for many multinational customers.

Graeme Geddes, Head of Zoom Phone, said, "As we engage with our customers, they tell us they want to untangle their global telephony spending and consolidate, much like their move to the cloud. Geddes added, "In response, we developed the Global Select plan and our expansion across the globe."

Zoom Phone is a cloud phone system that is available as an add-on to the platform of Zoom support for outbound and inbound calls through the public switched telephone network (PSTN). And integrated telephone features that let customers replace their existing PBX solution and consolidate all their business communication requirements into their favorite video platform. 

Currently, Zoom Phone is available in 40 plus countries and territories. The bring-your-own-carrier is also available worldwide. Zoom Voice Communications offers the Zoom Phone, which is available as an add-on for Zoom Pro and above customers. For more information, visit zoom.com/phonesystem.
