As though her particularly large family of 19 siblings wasn't enough to stir up talk amongst critics and fans, Jessa Duggar is giving people even more to talk about with her latest photo that was posted on the Internet.

The 21-year-old TLC "19 Kids and Counting" star was featured in a photo holding a .22 caliber high-capacity semi-automatic assault gun, reports the Daily Mail.

The "deadly photo" was reportedly posted to Facebook by Duggar's boyfriend, Ben Seewald along with the caption 'My AWESOME girlfriend. #DontmesswithJessa.'

Although it is publicly known that the traditionalist Duggars and Seewald are strong supporters of gun ownership, social media users were still bothered by the photo and let their voices be heard all over Facebook.

Fox News reports that one user commented, "They cannot do a front hug....or kiss.......but it is okay to hold up an assault weapon for giggles, yet we know how powerful Facebook, and other social networking tools are, this sends a strong message.....Each to their own, but when in the public eye, especially one of the 'Duggar Girls'.....It is her right to do as she wishes, but come on guys.......this is not tasteful."

Another Facebook user added, "While I believe in the right to [bear] arms, I can't believe a Christian would send out this photo because it's fun. If you want to be an adult act like one. I doubt her parents are proud of that picture."

Yikes!

Despite the public outrage for the photo, this isn't the first time the Duggar family has stirred up controversy for their pro-gun choices.

The Daily Mail reports that in 2011, 23-year-old John Duggar was also photographed carrying two rifles across his chest and critics were not pleased.

However, the Duggar family responded to the criticism by saying the gun safety was the "top priority" in their family.
