Lady Gaga scored a win on her dognapping case on Wednesday as one of the people charged in the shooting and robbery of her dog walker was sentenced to four years in prison.

Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office spokesman Greg Risling told CNN that 20-year-old Jaylin White pleaded no contest to one count of second-degree robbery.

Risling said White also admitted that a member of their group was armed during the incident. According to the DA's office, White was previously charged with one count of attempted murder and conspiracy to commit robbery.

However, Risling noted that White's other charges and allegations were dismissed. Lady Gaga has not yet commented regarding the decision of the court.

One Suspect in Lady Gaga's Dognapping Case Recaptured

James Howard Jackson, 19, was one of the five people arrested in connection to the attack on Lady Gaga's dogwalker Ryan Fischer on February 24, 2021.

He was mistakenly released from prison due to a "clerical error" in April while awaiting trial. On Wednesday, authorities said Jackson was arrested and returned to a Los Angeles County jail.

The young man is being held on attempted murder charges. Last month, the U.S. Marshals Service offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest.

Another suspect charged in connection to Lady Gaga's dognapping case was Lafayette Whaley. Other suspects were the woman who returned the dogs for receiving stolen property and the father of one of the suspects for helping his son avoid arrest.

Lady Gaga Dognapping Incident

Two of Lady Gaga's French bulldogs - Gustav and Koji - were stolen while Ryan Fischer walked the animals in Hollywood Hills. The dog walker was shot while protecting the dogs of the "Born This Way" singer.

Fischer, who was known to be a friend of Lady Gaga's family, wrestled with the suspects to get the dogs back. But one of his attackers fired a single shot, striking him in the chest.

The singer initially offered a $500,000 reward for the return of Gustav and Koji, no questions asked. Two days after the shooting incidents, Gustav and Koji were recovered by the authorities unharmed.

The woman returned the dogs to Los Angeles Police District's Olympic Community Police Station. However, the woman was later arrested together with four other suspects for the dog heist and attempted murder.

Police believed that the woman had a relationship with the father of one of the suspects who tried to steal Lady Gaga's dogs. Lady Gaga was in Rome when the dognapping incident happened.
